We're getting really excited for this weekend! Not because we're closing and skiing will be over....that's just blasphemy. But because this weekend is going to be so much fun! Many of us employees are just planning on staying up here Saturday night and celebrating all through the weekend. It's a great time of year when the snow is soft, temps are warm, and shenanigans seem to ensue. Shenanigans such as riding bikes on snow...hot pink one piece suits...and congo ski lines.
In case you haven't heard of all the fun stuff planned:
Saturday
Beer Garden on the deck
Hoop Shoot Contest
Live Music
SlushSprocket Bike Race
Final Steak Night at Wildewood Restaurant
Sunday
Throwback Day- wear your favorite old school ski outfit
Get the last chair for the 4:00 final run of the season!

Dear Grannie Annie,
It's not fair! They didn't allow my shenanigans on the bus to Powderhorn all season long, but now they're going to allow them at the resort on the last weekend???!!! Here I've been leaving them at home sipping milk and eating chocolate chip cookies -- YOUR advice, I might add -- and now I'm expected to just drag them out to conga like there's no tomorrow???
Hmmppphhhh!
Still Disgruntled
Dear Disgruntled,
Oh, my. You do have a problem.
You might suggest to your shenanigans that this is their reward for keeping you from becoming pale and flabby. After all, had you been kicked off the bus YOU might have been the one sitting home sipping milk and eating chocolate chip cookies.
And, yes, they might even spot some of their friends, Tom Foolery and High Jinks.
But it is their choice. Let them sulk at home if they want to. You can go with or without them. Either way you'll have a blast.
And, after Sunday, there really is no tomorrow for playing in the powder. Not until next season anyway.
P.S. If they choose to go, it would be wise to keep a close eye on them. You know how shenanigans, especially ones overloaded on chocolate chip cookies, can slip away from you.
Grannie Annie
