Gems Cards Now Available

Powderhorn is a proud member of Colorado Ski Country's Gems- the smaller resorts off the beaten path that don't kill the wallet. Right now you can pre-order your Gems Card and secure deals at all 8 Gems resorts. At Powderhorn, you'll get $10 off a lift ticket valid twice. Just show the card at the window.

Webcam FYI

For the webcam fans, we're working on it! It's stuck in the past and our IT guy ran off to Alaska so...we're pretty much helpless without him. He's back today though and is probably wishing he never returned due to the amount of voicemails he has stacked up.

This really has nothing to do with Powderhorn besides that we have lots of these little guys running around. I could see them doing this to people on the mesa!

Festival Mode

Everyone is excited and in total festival mode this morning and we prep for the 2nd Annual Flat Top Festival. Looks like the weather will be darn near perfect: sunny and 63, NICE! If you have kids, bring them up as we'll have bump-n-jump, craft center and petting zoo with goats, lambs, pony, rabbits, and possibly chickens (just gotta catch them first....glad that's not my job).

For those travelling without kids in tow, we have all the great local music you can handle plus BBQ and cold beverages. Bring a blanket and lay out on the slopes if you like!

Don't forget your sunscreen, see ya tomorrow!

Sign Says

Wow, it's not until you change your logo that you realize it's absolutely EVERYWHERE. We're changing all the signage around the resort to reflect the new look. Being here everyday, I guess you quit noticing it, but those "knees and skis" are all over the place. It's turned into a fun game...find the logo! Most obscure locations earn you big points. It's kinda like those Where's Waldo books. Only this project is much more expensive.

From the top of the mountain down, everything we can change is getting changed right now. Our main goal is to avoid mistakes like this...

Trust me, it's not that easy.
