This storm was a direct hit! I'm typing this at 6:45 am and we've had a FOOT of snow over night and it's expected to continue. I'll get you updates and pictures by 10am.
What could be better than a powder day for opening day?
UPDATE: It's now 11:30am and we have 22" of new snow on top with a 33" base! I just spoke with a meteorologist who said we should get another 18" between today and tonight. There's drifts up here up to 4 feet deep. Everyone is grinning ear to ear right now. It's amazing!
UPDATE: 4:00pm
We will be opening all 3 lifts tomorrow, 90% of the mountain, and tickets will be full price. I got a run in today and it's really really really good!

POW on opening day? Priceless.
Come on, it's lovely weather for a ski trip together with you!
When are you going to get a REAL webcam? You need to let us see the great skiing LIVE. We are old timers living in down in the Valley and want to see the young pups up there having a blast!
Our new webcam is here! We just need to get it installed and you'll have a great picture of the mountain and all those skiing. I'll post a link as soon as its up!
