Season Pass Benefits

It's 1,000 degrees outside but we're making winter decisions right and left. The benefits for our 09-10 season passes have changed up this year providing you with an even better package. We're pretty stoked about it!

Our friends at Crested Butte and Monarch Mountain are partnering up with us again. CB is offering unlimited 1/2 price lift tickets all season long. Holiday blackout periods may apply. Monarch is again offering 3 free days. Just show your pass at the ticket window for the deals.

Make sure you save your pass even after the season is over! It's now valid for 10% off Powderhorn services and products ALL year! That means discounts on food, lodging and the Alpine Trader even in the summer. You also get 10% off group lessons, rentals, food, and clothing. Pretty sweet eh?

Plan to buy in August for the best price!

Do we still get one free day at Crested Butte in addition to the half price days?

No, CB changed up their offer this year and removed the free day.

Sure glad we used our free days for the years they offered it.

We purchased our passes last March to take advantage of the guaranteed lowest price. Was there a benefit to buying early this year? Sounds like the March price is the same as the August price, is that right?

This is true, I also purchased my pass and my sons pass at "guaranteed lowest price" in March. So I am interested in a response, because the pricing is the same for August pass purchases. I feel somewhat deceived?

What no Free Day at Crested Butte this year. Well that seals the deal for me not buying a season pass...had to draw the line somewhere, and in this economy that did it. I hope you can negioate a better deal for season pass holders in the future with more benefits as opposed to less benefits compared to the previous year...thanks but no thanks on the season pass.

The sale every March is for those wishing to guarantee locking in the current season's rate for the next season's pass. Since prices historically go up each year, it's your best bet. Thankfully though we were able to hold prices steady this season.

For those bummed about the Crested Butte benefit, that comes directly from them and we're happy to have them on board. We enjoy the partnership. But if you'd like, shoot an email to them regarding the benefit.

Thanks!

Any plans for powderhorn to offer telemark lesson with season pass at graduation for completion of class, like they have done with snowboard and ski in the past with that special program? I have done the board and ski...and would like to learn the telemark.

Will the Learn to Ride program be expanded this year into Telemark? If yes....I'll be the first to sign up...3 day intensive. :)
